Being on a low-FODMAP diet usually means you or maybe a family member is suffering from IBS or SIBO, which is a challenge in itself. It’s likely you don’t want to be searching for hours trying to find a recipe that fits your diet, let us do this for you.
We have put together a selection of delicious low-FODMAP-friendly dinner recipes that won’t trigger SIBO or IBS symptoms, just click on the image to find the full recipe.
Cooking low-FODMAP dishes can be stressful, especially trying to find out if your ingredients are FODMAP-free. These recipes do have some ingredients in them that may be hard to find, so we will link them at the bottom of the page.
Creamy Tuscan chicken
This recipe takes just 30 minutes and creates a tender chicken in a delicious creamy sauce with spinach and sundried tomatoes.
Tip: this recipe requires you to make a low-FODMAP chicken broth if you are unable to buy some yourself.
Slow-cooker Bolognese
This bolognese is made in the slow cooker, leaving the mince to be a perfect texture and taste soaking in the delicious sauce.
This recipe makes 10, so you can feed the family and have some left over for another day!
Just cook some pasta when it's done and serve together.
Margherita pizza
This pizza is gluten-free but still tastes amazing and can be topped with whatever you like if it fits into your low FODMAP diet.
This recipe uses xanthan gum, which doesn't have any FODMAPs itself, but it can still cause some irritation for some, so if you are sensitive to this, leave it out.
Stir Fry
A delicious low-FODMAP vegetable stir fry that is simple, easy, and quick. It is coated in a light sauce yet packed with flavour.
‘Copycat’ chicken sandwich
Here we have a yummy buttermilk chicken sandwich, the ideal fake-away low-FODMAP recipe.
It's a crispy, tender, and juicy sandwich based on Chick-Fil-A’s chicken sandwich and you almost can’t taste the difference!
Roasted Red Pepper Pasta
A creamy, gluten and dairy-free red paper pasta that is full of flavour and vegetables.
It can easily be topped with chicken or shrimp if you want even more flavour.
Tex-Mex turkey and brown rice bake
This is an easy and cheesy Mexican-styled rice bake that tastes phenomenal, you wouldn't believe it is low-FODMAP friendly.
This recipe requires a low-FODMAP taco seasoning, which is available to buy online, but you can easily make an onion and garlic-free taco seasoning yourself, you could use this recipe.
Ginger sesame chicken
A delicious FODMAP meal that is crispy, savoury, and sweet all at the same time. It is full of flavour whilst being gluten and dairy-free!
It is easy to make and takes just 30 minutes to make in the oven, just top with sesame seeds and spring onions for extra flavour.
Macaroni and cheese
This delicious macaroni and cheese is super easy to make and the whole family will love it.
It is doused in lots of cheese and made with coconut milk to make it extra creamy.
