Clutching at silver linings

Hello and welcome back to Tobias Talks.
It's been a tough week to condense into a single blog, but i'll try, I think a simple pros/cons list will help
Pros
- Went to the gym every weekday
- Hit big compound lifts every session (bench press, squats, deadlifts)
- possibly gained a small amount of muscle
- weighed 274 lb yesterday
Cons
- had a takeaway pizza last night
- weighed 276.6 lb this morning
- put on a pound compared to this time last week
As you can see, it's been a pretty balanced week, of course I'm not happy about moving further from my goal this week but I was ahead of the goal just yesterday. Perhaps this weight fluctuation will be on my side and I'll be drop a few pounds over the next day, or perhaps any muscle I have put on has forever moved the goalposts.
I am content with my consistency in the gym, been lifting heavy and pushing hard, whilst being careful not to cause any injury.
Moving forward I am going to continue with my diet as it had been going well, minus the takeaway. I'm going to be in the gym 3 times a week minimum and I'm going to keep a level head and keep moving forwards.
I am going to finish this short blog with a teaching from a most hallowed guru, Homer Simpson;
You can't keep blaming yourself, just blame yourself once and move on.
